Pregnancy
Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is
essential for the pregnant mother. Her systems and organs are now providing
for two and their optimal function is critical for the baby's healthy development. The mother's spine and pelvis undergoes many changes and
adaptations to compensate for the growing baby and the risk of interference
to her nervous system is increased. Specific
chiropractic care throughout pregnancy works with enhancing nervous system
function and providing greater health potential for both the mother and
baby.
What is Chiropractic
Chiropractic finds
areas of your skeleton that are not moving properly and restores
normal movement through a spinal adjustment. Improper spinal motion
causes irritation of the underlying nerves, which control every
function of your body through your brain and spinal column. When
misalignment is corrected along the spine via an adjustment, not
only is your structure restored, but your body's functioning is also
improved. This is a result of the underlying nerve irritation being
relieved. When the spine is moving properly, your brain is best able
to communicate with your body, which leads to improved health in all
areas of your body

Pregnancy
Massage Therapy
During pregnancy a woman's body undergoes many changes, some of them
stressful and uncomfortable.
Massage is a perfect way to reduce stress and promote general well-being.
Massage can be used during the
birth to make it easier and more comfortable for mom, and after the birth
as well, to help her regain her strength more quickly and ease postpartum
stress.
